I am a calm, warm and creative person. I love doing arts and crafts activities with my charges as well as taking them on lots of trips to explore our wonderful countryside. One of my favourite activities is baking with my charges and I can provide healthy home cooked meals. I provide stimulating activities that aid and support the development of my charges including age appropriate science experiments, numeracy and language and literacy activities. Childcare is my chosen career and as such I have spent a lot of time on my professional development including completing a BA (hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies through the Open University. I have recently completed my Early Years Teacher training. I also keep up to date with my Paediatric first Aid and my safeguarding training. I qualified with a Level 3 diploma in Childcare and education in 2007. Since then I have worked in a range of positions including working as a nanny and as nursery nurse. In my previous positions I have followed the EYFS. I have experience with working with children from the age of 6 months to 12 years.
