I am trained in CPR & First Aid, Safeguarding, Sign Language, Healthy Eating, Autism Awareness, Selective Mustism, Additional Learning Needs, Sing & Sign, Positive Behavioir Management and many more. I am a fun, happy, and entertaining individual, I love the outdoors and being active but also know how to make learning fun and how to take it outdoors. I am extremely hot on safeguarding and child protection - my biggest job is always ensuring that the children I care for are safe and loved. I have worked with children with many additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, cerebral palsy, and so have experience on how to bond, and communicate with all children - I am constantly learning new signs/makaton as I’ve found over my years this really builds children’s confidence in communication and really helps them develop their language and communication. Overall, I am a fun-loving, experienced, loving individual who will do whatever I can to make each child feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy, as that’s what matters most!
