Professionally, I have been working as an English Language tutor for just shy of 3 years (2 years and 10 months), teaching children in China everything from the basic alphabet to discussions on academia. I also worked for a popular Bradford tutoring service during my last year of university. In my personal life, I am the family babysitter, I've been looking after siblings, cousins, and family friend's children since I was 14 years old. I'm also an 'unofficial' godparent to my friend's little girl. I have a current enhanced DBS (I am on the DBS update service, as required by schools and nurseries). About me, I spend my time occupied with literature and film, crafting and sewing, and visiting as many museums and art galleries as I possibly can. I can whip up healthy meals ranging from veggie fajitas to light chicken stir-fry. Working in education has made me great at homework help, and as a crafter and big reader, I like to think of myself as a great sock puppet storyteller.
