I’m a 45 year old wife and mother of two girls aged 20 and 15 years old. I’m a step nana to 2 children and I’m looking for a job to fit in around my lifestyle now my husband is retired. I have nearly 30 years experience of working with children through various different roles. I have worked in schools both private and state run at Primary level, so have experience of children aged 2 to 11 from this. I’ve also worked as a childminder when my own children were very young so I have experience of working with under 2s and planning routines for younger children. I worked for many years as a health care assistant in the paediatric department at Royal Preston Hospital and later as a support worker for adults along side working as an NVQ assessor for adults, so my roles have been varied. I’m currently working as a teaching assistant in year 3/4 in a primary school. I hope this gives you a little insight into my experience.
