My passion for childcare and education began as a young teenager, as I was set on becoming a teacher from a young age. After going to college to study sports coaching and working in different schools for work experience, I decided that an apprenticeship at a nursery would be an exciting adventure, this is where my drive and passion for working with children and young adults really sprouted. I enjoyed 5 years of working in a nursery, all whilst learning and gaining lots of experience. I enjoyed building relationships with the children and parents and providing them with a safe space where they were welcome to learn, play and build relationships. After working in the nursery and gaining the relevant qualifications, I decided it was time for a new adventure. In early 2022 I began working in a special education school as a teaching assistant. I now work closely with children from ages 5-19 and I am super proud of the work that I do as I am rewarded everyday. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
