I am a qualified Primary school teacher with specialism in Early Years and an Ofsted registered childminder based in Cowley, Uxbridge. I am able to offer services in my setting as a Home Nursery for (6 months - 5 year olds) where children are encouraged and given the opportunity to learn through play. Activities are set up with the children’s interests in mind which allows them to be independent. Opportunities are also provided for children to challenge themselves and move on to their next steps of development. I am hard working, enthusiastic and very passionate about working with children to support their learning and development, academically and socially. The aim is for children to be at the school readiness level once they leave the age of 4. I live in a terraced house with my husband and two daughters. The children have access to all of the downstairs area to play in as well as a secure garden with a slide and swing and a range of other outdoor activities. Children will be taken (with permission) to the local library, as well as other amenities such as children’s centres, parks, farms, indoor play areas to further support their learning.
