I have worked in care in hospitals (in the NHS) for 3 years, I am fully trained in CPR and choking. I have previous experience babysitting for children of family friends but I feel that my job as a care support worker at Sheffield teaching hospitals gives me an edge above the average babysitter. I am very often confronted with young children whose family are in hospital, but unfortunately they can often not sit with their family members as the ward opens them up to viruses and infections- so i frequently sit and play with them in the day room and have often been praised for my skills with children. I do also have experience working at a after school children’s club and babysitting experience.
