6 years' experience as a Childcare Practitioner and have been babysitting for family & friends since I was 17. I’ve had the pleasure of being Room Lead of a Toddler and a Pre-School Room but worked with ages from 0-5. I’m currently in university studying ‘Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Inclusion.’ Children bring so much joy & laughter to our lives, but I totally understand it takes a village to help raise them as it can be challenging juggling being a parent, working and having time to yourself. Therefore, I’m here to help and be an extension to that village when needed. I know that it may take time for children to be comfortable around me as I am a new face, but I will always liaise beforehand to make sure I know your child's interests. I can incorporate these into their care, to help build a bond. Even if it’s only to babysit for a couple of hours - everyone must feel comfortable and safe. I will always be respectful, polite, and honest as I treat people exactly how I want to be treated. I love helping others, I’m fun-loving, energetic, positive and will certainly not take it to heart if your little one spends 3 hours frowning at me but be sure to know they will always have me smiling back.
