I am a qualified early years and primary school teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in supporting the learning and development of children between the ages of 1-6 years old. I have been a reception and year 1 teacher in a primary school in the Bristol area for the past 5 years where I have provided engaging learning environments, following a child-led approach to learning. I have a BA Hons Degree specialising in Early Years Education. I have had the privilege of being a sole charge nanny for two families, caring for children from newborn to 3 years old. Recently taking on an additional ‘mother’s help’ role with a newborn. With both classroom and home-based education experience, I follow a child-led and gentle approach to learning, focussing on children’s key interests whilst following individual daily routines. I support children to develop their self-confidence and resilience when learning using emotion coaching.
