I enjoy working with children and young people and feel I have the enthusiasm, energy and confidence to ensure that the child is safe, cared for and happy. I have previously been a babysitter for 3 boys aged 4, 8, and11 in which I would make them dinner, play with them and put them to bed. My last employment was working with children in care with complex and challenging behaviours. This was a demanding role in which I worked on a 1:1 ratio with young people who had a variety of behavioural issues. I would care for them, challenging any inappropriate behaviours, cook healthy dinner, encourage them to take part in daily activities and become a positive role model for them to grow. I also have a 1 year old girl who is happy and content and I am constantly learning about motherhood and raising a child. I am currently learning welsh at home, enjoy baking and preparing healthy meals and have a love for the outdoors. I have a degree in Environmental conservation and NVQ level 3 in child studies.
