I am an energetic, friendly, creative, and warm sitter that loves to engage in all things games, sports, and crafts. A little about me: I’m a dual US/UK citizen - I grew up in Michigan and lived in Seattle for the last 5 years. I hold a masters degree in speech therapy where I worked professionally for two years before moving to London this summer. While I am taking a break from this role, it provides me extensive knowledge and experience with child development, engaging in interests with children across a wide age span, and managing a variety of behaviors, emotions, and complex family situations. Prior to my clinical work, I held various childcare roles including being a part-time nanny, after school babysitter, and even a live-in au pair in France. I’ve also worked as an assistant English teacher in a Hong Kong primary school and Spanish summer camp. I have experience working with children aged 2-18 and in completing light household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and pet care. My goal is to always join in with a child’s unique interests while maintaining family values, routines, and structure. I am currently available for flexible, ad-hoc one-time sitter or fixed term needs.
