I resigned form a stressful career earlier in the year and have recently seen my youngest child off to uni. As a complete change I started working at a school in the breakfast/after school club. I am now looking for an alternative as althoughI love working with children and have a great deal of experience (bringing up my own and childminding) I am not convinced that institutional care in a school environment is always the right thing especially for younger children who I think thrive more in a home environment.
