Hello my name is Sammi and I am 26 years old, I live in Tiverton but I am also able to travel to surrounding areas. My interests include art, learning languages (I am able to speak basic German, British sign language and Makaton sign language), cooking and baking, swimming, music and singing, being outdoors and active (long walks and yoga) & traveling-my latest trip was rock climbing in Spain. I also write a Childcare and Food Blog in my spare time. I worked for 8 years in local nurseries, in my last nursery I was Room Supervisor of the Toddler room, one to one support and SENCO for children aged 0-11 years. In November 2016 I changed my path and started working in an Outreach Academy as a Special Educational and Emotional Needs Teaching Assistant and support worker with children aged 11-16 years. I also have vast experience in babysitting, nanny work which i have done ad hoc since 2009. . I have extensive experience working with children with disabilities and behavioural problems and I currently regularly provide Respite care for 4 families with disabled children as well as 3 years experience working as a teacher of the deaf for a lovely little boy who I taught BSL and built on his communication skills, to which I have been accredited very high recommendations. A Levels in Drama, Phycology, IT and Sociology 9 GCSES A-C (Including English, Mathematics, Science,Religious Studies, History, Dance & Child Development) I have also completed all Swimming certificates including Life Saving Skills Full DBS check. I am currently undertaking driving lessons and have my test booked for May. Ideally I am looking for a job as a nanny plus babysitting, after school care and RESPITE.
