Three and a half years Nursery Assistant for a Nursery. Eighteen months working part time as a Nanny - this was three days a week picking three children up aged eight, nine and eleven, supervising them back home often on bikes, preparing their tea and helping with homework. Three years nannying for one family from when the child was aged 2 months old - this included general cleaning during the child's sleep times, as well as childcare in the home and participating in activities regularly such as baby groups, swimming lessons and Tumble Tots. Current job; In my eighth year nannying/housekeeping for a family in Cambridge with two children now aged 12 and 16 years old - when the children are at school my duties include general tidying of the house, all laundry, running errands such as dry cleaning, walking the dogs, preparing the children tea. Then picking up from the schools and supervising homework and reading practice before tea and bath-time. I enjoy all aspects of it, from all the caring side and duties that a nanny has to do, and encouraging babies and children's learning in different ways.
