Hi! My name is Sam, I have been a babysitter since the age of 14 and a nanny since the age of 21. I’ve always loved children and have had the joy of caring for one non-stop since the age of 9 when my little sister came along. I have enjoyed taking a very active role in her upbringing and still do to this day. I have cared for children of all ages and genders. My most recent placement was with 2 young boys (ages 7 and 9), this was a year-long contract as an after school and summertime nanny. Whilst in my role as a nanny, my duties included cooking, helping with homework, starting the bedtime routine; including the bath/shower routine, taking to and from hobbies, school pick-ups and general tidy ups around the house. I would like to think that I am patient, I have good communication with both parents and children. I love good organisation, I'm a stickler for a good, set routine and I love a good old problem to solve. As a singer/musician I would like to think that I am a creative person and can bring a child's creative side out. I have had previous first aid training, I do plan to do a refresher course in the near future.
