My name is Samantha and i am a qualified Early Years teacher. I am married with 3 children 13, 11 and 6 year old. My 15 years experience working with children and babies of all ages means that I'm very skilled at building a strong rapport with children to help them settle well with me.The key is being caring, calm and in control - as well as being fun of course! I am passionate about working with young children and providing them with the stimulation, fun and loving care they need to thrive. I believe that children need the reassurance of a structured routine for meals and naps but they also need to have a variety of opportunities and experiences and they need an environment where they are supported to follow their own interests and learn through play. I place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and the value of visiting parks, farms, children's centres and museums and socialising with other children. I have up to date paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and I have undertaken various short training courses over the years including speech & language, behaviour management, and food hygiene.
