Hey! I’m Sally, and I’m a creative, fun-loving childcare professional with over three years of experience working with kids of all ages. I’ve worked as a Play Leader at Sciennes After School Care Scheme in Edinburgh, where I organised arts and crafts and led activities for groups of children. I also got the chance to provide one-on-one support for two children with additional needs. During the COVID lockdown, I nannied for a family of key workers. I looked after their primary school-aged kids, keeping them entertained, making meals, and helping out with their schoolwork. It was a busy but rewarding time, and I loved finding ways to make it fun and stress-free for them. I’ve also been a Brownie Young Leader, so I’m used to working with younger kids in a group setting, leading activities and helping them learn in a relaxed, enjoyable way. Whether it’s getting creative with arts and crafts, playing outdoor games, or just lending a hand with homework, I’m all about making sure kids have a great time while feeling safe and supported.
