Hello! I’m Sadie! I’m a UoS student just got back from an exchange in Australia. I love reading, yoga, hiking, and i’m a dancer also! I started my route in childcare/education the usual way, babysitting and nannying for my parents’ friends kids and children in my local area. I then became an Assistant Dance Teacher at my dance school helping out in lessons, progressively moving on to running my own classes. I used to teach an afro hip-hop class to children between 2 and 6, and ballet and tap classes to children up to the age of 12. I also used to teach lessons at a School Activities camp run over half term/summer break back in my hometown (Bromley!) so have experience in arts/crafts and other activities. I’m first aid trained with an enhanced DBS, and lots of care and knowledge to share with our future generations! I’m currently a student at Southampton University studying a masters in Marine Biology - I think it’s important to encourage kids to connect to nature and take care of our environment hence why I’m looking to step back into this line of work with kids. Ideally i’d be helping out with after school stuff or babysitting - whatever your needs may be pop me a message and let’s see if we can work something out.
