I'm a qualified child care practitioner & worked for 6 years at a breakfast & after-school club. I am registered with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) & have been PVG police checked. I have done child protection, first aid & food hygiene courses. I always try to do every job I undertake to the best of my abilities, always taking the children's health, well-being and happiness into account. I love to play with children, read to them, take them out & about in the fresh air, do various play/learning activities & have fun with them! I treat all children as the individuals & try to praise their strengths & find ways of encouraging them with any 'weaknesses'. I have a healthy sense of humour. I'm aware of the need for confidentiality. I'm a mother of a teenage daughter so I've learnt a few things along the way! I enjoy driving & have never had points on my licence. In my time off I like to be active whether it be running, walking or cycling or simply relaxing reading a good book. (I currently look after 3 teenage girls during the weekdays who have learning difficulties so that is my main job, babysitting would be a nice extra)
