I am a 23 year old creative who has unfortunately had upcoming work cancelled because of Covid-19. With schools shutting down and kids being off, I understand a lot of parents might need childcare right now- which is where I can help! I come from a big family and have a lot of younger cousins who I used to look after growing up. I have also volunteered as an English Teacher in Sri Lanka where I taught children aged 3-7 across a language barrier. I studied English Literature at university and was awarded a First Class Honours. I can thus offer more than just child care, also helping to tutor children and help with their homework. Having practiced yoga and meditation since I was 16, I have a calm, positive and adaptable mindset that allows me to cope well under pressure. I am incredibly creative and often create fun games, crafts and learning excercises that I practice with my younger cousins. I also think during this uncertain/scary time it is important for kids to go walking and get exercise so they can exert some of their energy!
