My name is Rose, I am 21 and an architecture student at Cardiff University. I have spent a total of 7 months as an au pair, looking after children between the ages of 7 and 17. One job was on a farm in New Zealand and was very hands on in terms of activities and housekeeping, the other was based in London and was more focused on organisation, being a personal assistant and being responsible for the children completing homework and getting to places they need to be. I also have 3 younger brothers and young cousins so am very accustomed to the delights and challenges that come with every age group! I am responsible, proactive and friendly. I am used to being thrown up on and it is difficult to perterb me. I am able to help with homework at most levels, and I enjoy cooking too. Finally, although I am cheery and energetic with children, I also appreciate the importance of sticking to a routine, particularly when parents are occupied!
