I am an experienced Cache qualified nanny who is fully CRB certified. I have now been working with children for over 25 years. I have worked in play groups and crèches and with various families and young children. I have been the carer of young children for some years now, and have worked in a group and a one on one basis. Having gained a ‘Teaching Spanish to Young Learners’ certificate from the Cervantes centre in London I am also qualified in this area. I have worked as a volunteer for special needs children. My responsibilities involved supporting and encouraging children with disabilities in order for them to evolve to their fullest potential. I have completed a number of relevant courses and I successfully completed an NVQ level 1 and 2 in childcare, and have also completed level 1 and 2 in maths. I am also the mother of three children who are now grown up and in higher education or employment. This of course has also provided me with a wealth of experience in looking after children of all ages and at all stages of their lives.
