I come from a family of 6 children, 4 of them with varying forms of special needs from ASD, wheelchair user, PEG fed and non verbal. I have also worked in nursery’s before for around 5 years as well working as a nanny with children from newborn to 6 years old. I would collect the youngest from nursery and having some time together doing various activities before going to get the eldest from school. My other nannying job was at home with a 1 year old and 3 year old doing lots of fun activities! My current job also revolves heavily around children from newborn to 18 years old too.
