Hello! My name is Rimma and I am an undergraduate Biology student. I have worked as a full-time nanny during my gap year, taking care of two lovely boys! These are some one the responsibilities I had during the year: - Prepare nutritious meals and healthy snacks - Organize educational games, read, plan outdoor activities - Drop off/pick up from extracurricular activities -Teaching safe behavior -Cleaning the house, laundry -Use of positive reinforcement methods, keeping track of the achievements during the day, using a whiteboard with stickers -Bathe, Dress and change dippers -Baking cakes/muffins with the kids -Helping children with after-school activities -Getting the baby ready for the nap, preparing the milk -Organizing activities according to the child interests e.g. floor is lava, detective game, drawing/arts and crafts -Making sure the screen time is limited during the day, encouraging to play with each other as well as other activities -Provide care for the children when if they get sick, contact the doctor, give them medication, prepare special meals, generally making them feel comfortable and safe
