I have worked in early years for over 15 years primarily in nursery environments as I have proceeded to management. Over the last couple of years the whole ethos of early years has changed and you can no longer just 'play' with children and in my busy management roles my work become more and more paperwork based and I moved further away from working directly with the children. I have decided that becoming a Nanny is my best option because I am so passionate about caring for children's personal care and development needs. I am able to develop personal relationships with children and their families which appears frowned upon in the "professional" sector and I can provide the warm, loving and stimulating care that children so desire. Children are naturally drawn to me and I know that I can enhance their learning through fun filled activities tailored to their interest.
