Since leaving school at 16 I went on to work in a school as a teaching assistant while I completed my NVQ in childcare. I then went on to work in a nursery in the baby and toddler room as a room leader. Furthermore, I went on to university to study psychology in 2014 where I continued to work with children as a nanny throughout my studies for two families, one being that with 3 children and another of 6 children aged between 2 years and 14 years. After university (2017) I worked in mental health care with adults but left in 2019 to pursue working with children. I currently work 7am until 1pm in a none profit nursery In Towyn, which I love, however it doesn’t offer the hours I would like due to number of children attending the small nursery. I have currently been driving for 10 years. I have many qualifications and I am always looking to learn more. Due to Covid-19 lockdown I have used this time To update my first aid training and I have started a NVQ in playwork and a post graduate diploma in child psychology.
