Being privileged to work months in a crèche and baby sit a neighbour’s infant, I’ve come to realize children need love to ensure their emotional stability and balance over time or as they grow. Children without emotional support, who lack love and care look way dull, unhappy and unwilling to respond to any form of play. Hence, as a baby sitter, I usually take the time to play, sing, teach, ask questions about their daily activities, what or where they’d like to do or go and more to be able to connect more to their emotional well being and ensure their happiness. Also, from my little expertise, it is of utmost importance ensuring the kids feel the love of their parents by relaying how much their parents love, care and strive for them. Hence, the reason they are entrusted into my reliable arms. Children’s diet, meal preference , nutritional values and more as laid out are also of utmost consideration to me.
