Mother of 3 children who are now more or less grown as the youngest is 17. My eldest has ASD/Aspergers. He is now 21yo and at college studying engineering. My second is 19yo and is an apprentice heating engineer. My husband is at the end of his army career after 23 years and has been back to school to become a heating engineer, which I'm very proud as he has just passed. Being in the armed forces family we have moved around many times but have now bought a house in Coundon, Bishop Auckland, so will settle here. I have been a full time mum this last 20yrs with my hands full as my husband was regularly away on tour for 6-7 mths at a time. This meant me playing both parental roles, which is hard getting the equilibrium right - so hats off to single parents, its hard!. I have had a few health issues over the last few years after developing M.E and Fibromyalgia which I've learnt how to manage for the better part. I have also gone back to school studying Counselling at Bishop Auckland College and will start my degree in Sept, which will be all day Wednesday's. I'm now left with a lot of time on my hands and I feel 'redundant' as my children are all but grown. I have a lot of patience and lots of love to give.
