I have been an au pair( live in nanny) in America for 2 years now, working with 3 little boys! Now they are 9 months old, 3 and 5 years old. I will be moving back to Scotland in May 2020, so will be available from then. Before coming here I looked after my niece full time until she was 13 months and babysat for a lot of families. My job right now acquires me to look after the youngest full time 45 hours a week, do before school, drop off and pick up with the older two and activities. Along with light household chores such as children’s laundry, cooking and cleaning and tidying up after children. I feel respect goes both ways with children and always get down to the child’s level when talking to them! I love doing crafts and doing outdoor activities with children, I also feel children should be social with other children so playdates and playgroups are important! I also feel that it’s very important to go with the style of parenting that family uses, I am very respectful of that and will continue the work of the parents while Looking after the children.
