My name is Racheal and I run Tiny Footprint Outdoor Explorers childcare in Newmarket. I have over 15 years’ worth of experience in looking after children from birth to late teens and have also been lucky enough to work in the education sector where I was able to support their learning and encourage them to grow and develop. I have six children of my own ranging from 1 to 20 years old and understand the different stages of development they go through and the challenges this may bring! As well as the Early Years Level 4 qualification, I have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant diploma, Level 3 in Education, Training and Assessing, and modules from the Open University ‘Working with children, young people and families’ degree course. I am a member of the Forest Childcare Association and am continuing my training so that Tiny Footprint may provide even more outside opportunities for the children in our care. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, paediatric first aid training, safeguarding, level 2 Food Hygiene and other CPD training such as Makaton, EYFS Speaking and Listening – a full list can be provided on request.
