I have a variety of different experiences working with individuals who have individual care needs. I have spent the last 3 years caring for a male with both physical and learning disabilities. I assisted the individual with an array of needs, such as personal care, assisting on social outings, home-cooked meals (3 times a day), medication administration and day to day life tasks. I have gained other care experience through my mother who has complex physical disabilities (wheel chair user), which has allowed me to gain strong character development and has made me a much more patience and understanding individual. I come from a large family and being the oldest, I have spent many years looking after my family members, which I have really enjoyed.
