I love gaining new experience, I'm enthusiastic and lively about everything I do. Since studying childcare, I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I left college and that was to work within childcare. I'm very keen to be successful at everything I do, and have strong passion for looking after and making sure children are happy and learning within my care. I've worked as a volunteer in many different settings, ranging from special needs schools, pre-schools, nursery's and day care. I have enjoyed each and every type of setting I have worked at. I have also worked as a casual babysitter for many different families with children of all ages and needs. I spent just under a year working at a local after school club which helped me gain experience on feeding children nutritious meals and play work. During my time at this job I attended various different courses which really helped me gain knowledge and improve the way I work as an individual. I have experience working with children from 0-13 years, this includes children and young people with special and learning needs. I have also worked with children whom communicate through Makaton and with children with language barriers.
