I have experience in leading youth groups, working in children’s residential settings and working in schools and nurseries. I have worked as a ‘House Parent’ for a private residential school for children aged between 14- 18.. In addition, I also have experience working as a teaching assistant for primary schools and as a nursery practitioner adhering to the EYFS framework working with children aged 3-5 and working with key children. I have worked for a number of outdoor pursuits companies as a kayak and canoe instructor for children aged 8-18. Through this line of work I have gained qualifications in kayak instructing, dingy sailing, SUP and windsurfing. I am also qualified with a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and have worked as a lifeguard and centre attendant. I also hold a First Aid at work qualification. I am friendly, positive, active, creative, patient and outgoing. In addition I speak fluent French and have a genuine commitment to supporting the emotional, social and physical development of young people. I also hold a full UK driving licence.
