I am currently a nanny in the islington area looking after twins a boy & girl they are now 24months old, I have been with them since they were 9 months old. I have previous nannying experience working with this same age group and also I have worked in a nursery for 1year gaining some qualifications alongside knowledge of the EYFS. In the nursery I worked with all age groups from baby room, toddler room up to preschool. At the moment I am with a lovely family working from Mon-Friday 8am to 6:30pm. I am looking to lower my hours and do perhaps 2-3days per week. Currently we attend many activities in Islington (monkey music, little kickers) & have lots of playdates and go to the library at least once a week, and go to the park, playgroup, museums and many other things:) . I have a good working routine with babies and very active full days. They are both very happy social babies as all the children I have nannied for have been. I think its important for children to be social with other similar age groups as much as possible so they learn to share and play, also because it helps them understand what others want of them and helps develop their sense of self.
