I’ve been a teacher for 34 years and am about to retire from full time teaching to hopefully enjoy looking after a or small family of children. I was a nanny for two years whilst living abroad and it was a very rewarding time . The opportunity to enjoy being with a child / children without curricula demands is a pleasure. I look after my grandchildren who are 4/5 and 7 and it’s the best time ever. I could continue working full time in education but with the added pressures at this time it’s made me evaluate what is more important to me. I love playing with children and encouraging them to be the best the can be I’m an infant teacher and for the last two years have been a nursery teacher.
