I have a kind and patient attitude towards the children. Children take well to me and have a strong bond with children in the nursery that I am currently working in, due to my attitude and nature. I am aware of what the nursery nurse's role is whilst working as I have done it for 2 years and I am fairly confident with the expectations. I also have experience with older children as I have worked in a holiday club and I am also currently studying Primary education in Bangor University. Therefore I have completed teaching practice in the Foundation phase and in Key stage 2, which varies from 3 to 11. I enjoy interacting and working with children as I feel comfortable and confident in children’s company. I am suitable for this job as I am caring, patient, understand the appropriate behaviour around children and I always put every child’s safety first. I am confident when in a childcare setting and feel comfortable applying my role within a childcare setting. I feel confident reading stories and singing to entertain the children and make their time at the setting fun.
