When I was 16 I started a job at Claire’s Accesories which meant I was piercing young children’s ears and even being in charge of parties for 15 little girls at weekends which meant a lot of taking charge and getting little ones to listen to me. After that job at age 19 I went to work at butlins holiday park as a Redcoat children’s entertainer which means I had to do craft sessions with children starting from age 2 onwards, I did children’s shows, I played games with the children and I would sit and watch the shows etc with them. Next I went to work in Greece for 3 weeks working in the kids club with children that didn’t speak any English and were coming on holiday, this meant I had the challenge of trying to understand them and getting them to understand me as I only speak English. I even ended up teaching some of the children some English. As well as all of this experience I also have 10 nieces and nephews all ranging from ages 0-20 and they have all been in my life since I was first born and I’ve always been first point of call for looking after/babysitting them.
