I am a student currently hoping to go onto a career in nursing after finishing my studies. I have previously volunteered on a weekly basis as a teaching assistant caring for children from the ages of 3- 8 years old, I found the experience incredibly rewarding and enjoyable and has made me keen to explore more in this sector. I am able to communicate well with children, providing an fun energy whilst still maintaining an authoritative role. As a carer I am able to provide household help, cooking/feeding, potential tutoring opportunities and can organise and lead activities.
