I have 4+ years experience working with autistic adults and teenagers. I have a small amount of SEN teaching assistant experience working in a SEN primary School. For the past 8 years I have been an at home carer for my partner and children. Although this wasn't paid employment and was for my family I believe the skills are relevant. I can comfortably run a house hold with young children in. I can cook and clean and do School drop off / pick ups. Although I don't drive so would have to be walking or public transport to travel. I have looked after and cared for my daughter from newborn. So Although all my experience isn't from paid work. I am comfortable with all ages from newborn to adult. In my spare time i like to read fantasy books of all kinds. I'm a massive fan of Doctor who. I like music and listening to the radio. I enjoy working with children as I feel a great sense of achievement in helping to make a difference to someone's life. No matter how big or small that difference may be. I bieve children should be able to thrive and grow and learn in a safe environment.
