I am the eldest of 10 cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed looking after them whilst I was young. As I grew up I was always the adult playing with the children. In school I studied GCSE Childcare, but left to work in an accounts department in Liverpool. Once I had my children in 1999 I wanted to be a stay at home mum as I thoroughly enjoyed motherhood, as my friends and family always counted on me to help out with their childcare when they needed to work I decided in 2009 I would train and register to become a professional childminder from home. Since then I have taken on children from the ages of 6 months and up full daycare and before or after school care. I implement the EYFS online with the governing statutory framework expected from all childminders care, and I give care to a high expectation as I would with my own children.
