My passion for Childcare stemmed from the fact I have two younger siblings, whom I believe I have had a great deal bringing up. I therefore have always had a motherly instinct, enjoying taking care and playing with children. In the past, I have done short periods of work experience in various schools, including nurseries and primary schools. I believe this has enabled me to understand children's needs, taking care of them in a professional manner as well as teaching them vital skills in life and education. I am therefore able to interact and experienced with toddlers as well as school age and teenagers. I have not had a lot of experience with newborns in a while, however I feel I may be more confident with a little training and guidance, as I feel each child's needs can differ, which is something I have learnt through looking after my siblings. I have also done some volunteering at the YMCA in Banstead, where I helped look after disabled children (mostly autistic). Although this was brief, again with a little training/guidance I feel I could look after special needs children.
