I have worked on many occasions with disabled children both through sports coaching and as a ‘Special Needs activity Scheme’. I volunteered in local schools coaching sports to children officiating primary school sports competitions. I have also organised my own charity events, which included a sponsored triathlon and bake sale, all for a local cause. I also concurred my fear of heights by taking part in a skydive to raise money for Children’s Cancer Trust Last summer I spent teaching english and maths to children in Sri Lanka. This experience was both challenging and rewarding and has further inspired my desire to work with children. In addition, I am currently studying Biology at university with the hope of specialising into paediatric and neonatal physiology, further emphasising my love for working with children. I have looked after many children for friends and family- both during the day and overnight.
