Hello all! My name is Nick and I'm a 23 year-old student getting my Master's in Social Work at the University of Edinburgh. I am empathetic, energetic, and love working with people! I have experience working with kids from my time as a youth rowing coach. For 4 years, I worked with children and teens age 12-17, teaching them to row crew, cooperate as a team, and build confidence. As an undergraduate, I worked as a Resident Assistant in a first-year dorm. I received training in leadership, safety, and inclusion; I went on to manage a floor of 40 Freshman, maintain Covid-19 safety during the pandemic, and facilitate community-building activities. I decided to join Care.com to find a flexible job that helps pay tuition while I complete my studies. I have CPR certification and crisis management qualifications. Through my social work program, I have received PVG clearance to work with both adults and children. I am passionate about cooking and am comfortable with meal-prep and household cleaning/organization.
