I currently work in a day nursery, in the preschool room, with children, aged 3-5. I have worked there for nearly 7 years. I have experience working with toddlers and children of school age, through my job, but also through my placement (1 year), working in a primary school. In preschool, we teach the children through play and follow the national curriculum. I love working in childcare because it's fun and fulfilling knowing I'm helping those children to learn and grow. It's exciting and fast paced and you will always be learning something new, especially from the children. I work full-time so currently I can only do Friday night, Saturday and Sunday! I may be able to do weekday evenings, but this would need to be reviewed weekly when I receive my rota.
