I have always been employed as a professional children's worker or nursery nurse and have worked in professional settings from birth to 12 years plus since 1991. I am specially trained to work therapeutically with children who have additional needs or conditions which affect their mental health. I also enjoy working with children who present with challenging behaviours. I interact with them therapeutically and use the arts to help communicate with them and build a therapeutic relationship. I am a very caring person with a warm, nurturing personality. I am also at ease communicating with both children, young people and adults alike. I take a genuine interest in encouraging the child's development and would facilitate activities/experiences to encourage this. I am currently employed as a nursery manager within childcare/education. I am available for ad hoc child care over the weekends and on a regular basis, by arrangement, for professional families. I have an up dated PVG member disclosure, 2022,and I am also registered as a nursery manager with the Care Inspectorate.
