I currently work for 2 boys, aged 11 and 13 who are low functioning autistic. Sometimes life can be very frustrating for the two boys as communication through speech is hard. I work with them to support their needs while out on social activities such as swimming and bowling and also, home visits. I often help out mum with household chores and personal care with the boys. Previously, I worked with a homecare company providing care and support for adults and children around the west hull area and the west hull villages. I worked with this company 6 months before becoming private. Within that time I worked specifically with a woman with hungringtons disease and a man with multiple sclerosis. I left this company due to the bad quality of care that was being provided and as a passionate carer, it wasnt a place I had belief in.
