I have always been considered as a very optimistic, friendly character that is always willing to meet new people and welcome anyone new. I’m a motivated person who is open to develop and improve my ability in any job role possible. Gingerbread is a very popular charity-based childcare business. They give single mothers a chance to work whilst letting their children have the best experience they can within Gingerbread’s facilities. Throughout my job experiences, this one was the most fulfilling and rewarding, but came with difficult tasks. Even though working with children seems like a bundle of fun and games, there were a great number of policies and procedures that had to be strictly carried out. I cared for children that ranged from the age of 3 to 16 and there were around 20 to 30 children in the after-school club each day. Each child came with an individual record and some with learning difficulties such as: down-syndrome; autism; learning difficulties; ADHD and more. Caring for each child individually, understanding each one of their needs and working with them in a way that would ensure the best comfort for them was mandatory. I created a lot of bonds with the children, ones that will always be remembered.
