I have had work experience in caring for children from the ages of 6 months+, which enabled me to understand the importance of good communication skills as well as the safety of the children. This work experience also demonstrated a positive attitude to working. Also, I have done a lot of work experience in relation to my college course, from working in nurseries to reception classes. Learning child care in college has given me an understanding of children and the importance of their learning, development, play and safety. I also have a son of my own (born April 2019), this has given me great understanding of responsibilities and priorities, and first hand experience of working with newborn babies.
