Hi, my name is Nafisa and I am a lover of literature, a good laugh and baked goods :) My personal goals for this summer are: visit every museum in London, explore the English countryside and ride a horse! Back home, I co-led a months long creative writing and photography immersive called Girls Eye View. My first babysitting gig was in high-school and college, watching the 6 year old of a family acquaintance. I ended up babysitting for two other families on their street as well. I tutored ELL students for 3 years while at university. After graduation, I worked full-time for the Burlington School District leading academic instruction for k-5, after-school homework help and high school mentoring through a university prep program. When I relocated to NYC, I had the joy of babysitting for a family through Care.com. I was with their son from age 7-10, only stopping when I moved out of state. I spent this April taking care of my friend's children when she returned to work. They have a 3 month old, a 3 year old and a 5 year old…it was a sing-a-long month and I loved it! (As a side-note - I am fully vaccinated.)
