Hello, I am a mother of two, oldest being 6 and youngest coming up two years, I am also based in Welham Green. Before I had my youngest son I nannied for a year and a half, I then went on maternity leave and returned back to work to continue nannying for the same family, but the time has come and he has now grown up and starting reception at school so I will be looking for a new role. I was also a nanny when my daughter was 6 months old, I looked after another little girl who was the same age and occasionally looked after their son who was 3 at the time when he wasn’t at nursery. Growing up I have worked in and out of childcare, I have worked in nursery’s settings and after school care which is more of a professional setting however, being a mum is where I truly learnt about children. I will be a nanny with own child however, this makes no difference to me and doesn’t effect my responsibilities and duties as a Nanny. I also have the option to put my son in part time child care which would mean occasional days I am available without him.
